The Skinny On Your Stay

  • In order to keep all of our guests happy and safe, we do have a few basic requirements. Please make sure your dog meets all of these specifications before registering:

    • Recent health certificate with proof of Distemper, Rabies, Parvo, Bordatella and Canine Influenza* vaccinations.

    • ID tag with their name and contact information.

    • Dogs must be neutered if they are over 8 months old.

    • All dogs have to be at least 3 months old.

  • Of course! We welcome pet parents and their pups to schedule a tour of our incredible property with one week’s advance notice. You can also check out our location on Google Maps.

  • This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We routinely administer oral or injectable medications. However, we do not accept dogs with mobility issues or dogs that are unable to traverse steps on their own.

  • Yay! We can’t wait to have your pup at ROAM. If you’re a new customer, please register on our client portal and select the days of your stay. We’ll review your request and confirm your stay within 48 hours.

  • We require a minimum stay of 3 nights at $95/night. Your nightly rate includes round-trip transportation and a bath.

There are discounts for extended stays and bringing a sibling with you.

Certain days of the year, typically during extremely busy times, will have holiday pricing. To see which dates incur this nightly increase, please see our Rates page.

  • Food & Treats - We kindly request that food is sent to us in pre-portioned containers for morning and evening meals.

    Leash & Collar with ID

Medications & Supplements - Special shampoo for sensitive dogs.

Coat or outerwear during winter months.

WHAT NOT TO PACK: Toys or other unnecessary personal items.

*Please label all of your dog’s belongings

  • No car, no problem! When your pup stays at ROAM Camp we offer complimentary transportation from New York City, which is available on Monday and Thursday each week.

If a holiday falls on a regularly scheduled transportation day, pick ups/drop offs will occur on the following day.

  • No biggie. We can typically accommodate requests for transportation on days other than our free Monday/Thursday shuttle for a fee of $150 per trip ($300 round trip).

Alternate day transportation must be booked a minimum of 10 days in advance.

  • Eat. Socialize. Exercise. Relax. Repeat.

We want ROAM to be your dog’s home away from home. They will be able to enjoy the farm totally kennel free.

If your dog loves to run, we have 3 acres of fenced in dog runs with a swimming pond, stream and hiking trails.

For the more easy going campers, they’ll have open access to grassy fields, outdoor porches, couches and beds to relax on.

Check out our Instagram or Facebook to see what our pups are up to.

  • ROAM pups spend the night in our family farmhouse where they have the choice of a dog bed, a couch, a human bed or an open crate.

  • We understand that anytime your dog is enjoying the outdoors, there are always concerns for ticks, fleas and parasites. That’s why we require our pups to be treated with a reliable preventative and properly vaccinated.

  • We prepare for all possible scenarios before your dog even arrives. In the on-boarding paperwork we require a credit card in the event of an emergency.

We will make every attempt to contact you first, but if you’re unreachable we have full trust in our vet to provide the best care for your dog.

  • We understand that life happens and plans change from time to time. We do not charge a cancellation fee, but we request that cancellations are sent via email or phone call at least 12 hours in advance of pickup so we’re able to rearrange our routes.
